If you are interested is learning more about research data management, below are some resources to help you get started:
- DataOne Education Modules on research data management. Contains PowerPoints that you can incorporate into your teaching. This site also contains links to webinars, screencast tutorials and more.
- MANTRA is a free, online course for students, researchers, academics and librarians who manage digital data as part of a research project. It contains 8 online modules that you can do at your own pace and covers topics ranging from planning, organizing, sharing, storage & security and much more. MANTRA is maintained by the University of Edinburgh.
- PARTHENOS Training Modules: PARTHENOS (Pooling Activities, Resources and Tools for Heritage E-Research Networking, Optimization and Synergies) has developed a series of online training modules such as "Introduction to Research Structures," "Collaboration within Research Structures," and "Manage, Improve and Open Up your Research Data."
- Research Data Management and Sharing MOOC (Massive open online course). The 5-week rolling MOOC on Coursera was created by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Edinburgh. You will receive a certificate of completion.
