On-campus access:

Access is given seamlessly via the Ezproxy server. You will need to type in your firewall username and password . The firewall username and password is given to you by campus IT at 016 910 3324/8.
Some of the e-journals are individual subscriptions that does not work via ip-authentication and requires a unique password. Phone 018 299 2802 if you are asked a username and password on campus other than your firewall username and password.

Off-campus access:

You must be a registered student / personnel of the North-West University: (Vaal Triangle Campus) to access library databases from off-campus.
Access is given via the Ezproxy server. You will be asked to enter your surname and id-number / university number to gain access to our databases and e-journals. Phone 018 299 2802 if you cannot get access with your surname and id-number / university number .
Some of the e-journals are individual subscriptions that does not work via Ezproxy (ip-authentication) and requires a unique password. Please phone 018 299 2802 if you are asked a username and password other than your surname and id-number / university number .
Due to licence restrictions some databases like Butterworths and Juta are only available on campus.
